Transfers

Please Note - a member cannot start their own transfer. A transfer will need to be initiated by your current club, the club you wish to join, or your provincial branch. Please contact any of those to start your transfer.

Club Starting a Transfer - Send Player or Request Player

A club can start a transfer in 2 ways - either sending one of their own players to another club, or by requesting the transfer of a player from another club.

To start a transfer click the Transfers/Dual Membership link on your club admin login. Next, click Start Transfer (Send) or Start Transfer (Request).

If sending your player to a new club, search for your player and click the Transfer icon to begin the transfer.

If requesting a transfer of a player from another club. you will need to have the player’s IRFU ID and surname to hand when requesting the transfer.

Club Approving a Transfer

To approve a transfer, click the Transfers/Dual Membership link on your club admin login. Click the Check box to begin the approval.

Member Approving a Transfer

After a transfer has been initiated, and before being able to register to their new club, a player will first need to approve their transfer. This can be done by logging into their account, or by clicking the quick approval link on the transfer email received.

Member Completing Registration to New Club

When your transfer has been fully approved, you are still required to register into your new club before your transfer is fully complete.

To do this, click the Complete Transfer button on your member card.
